Sílvio Corrêa started the match with the kick off. Adam Arnista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Arnista struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Aírton Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esporte Clube Pilar. Yan Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Esporte Clube Pilar fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bautista Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aírton Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Queirós made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Yan Zonta sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Eliézer Dracena in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Esporte Clube Pilar's Claudinho Ramalho. Bautista Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Aírton Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Esporte Clube Pilar's Adam Arnista ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aírton Queirós. Aírton Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Yan Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Téo Fonseca got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Adam Arnista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esporte Clube Pilar's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Arnista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quebra Ossos FC's Aírton Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zonta in the 42nd minute of play. When Walmyr Neto came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Esporte Clube Pilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Neto couldn't finish the play. Walmyr Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Aírton Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Arnista, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Yan Zonta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the Quebra Ossos FC defense, Adam Arnista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton Queirós. The Quebra Ossos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton Queirós should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Ramalho came free, but Aírton Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bautista Quintero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Queirós having to interfere. If Bautista Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aírton Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Arnista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Queirós having to interfere. Aírton Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bautista Quintero in the 84th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Aírton Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Téo Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quebra Ossos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esporte Clube Pilar the free kick. In the 85th minute, Téo Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Adam Arnista notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Quebra Ossos FC's Aírton Queirós. Aírton Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adam Arnista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Esporte Clube Pilar had played much better football throughout.
