The crowd rose to their feet as Yan Zonta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Gustavo Barreto. That made the score 6-0 in the 32 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Pilar's Claudinho Ramalho got a free kick in the 37th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Bautista Quintero came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Esporte Clube Pilar fans jumped to their feet. In the 83rdth minute of the game Claudinho Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EC Fragata's Luís Gustavo Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adam Arnista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Gustavo Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, EC Fragata's Sydney Quirino got a free kick in the 91st minute. Roch Orszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Prado in the 93rd minute of the match. Adam Arnista took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Barreto. Luís Gustavo Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. There was no doubt that Esporte Clube Pilar were the better team. Esporte Clube Pilar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
