Uberlandia-DMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Kisielka ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Edward Kisielka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Augusto Duarte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Válter Camargos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Zé Augusto Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Válter Camargo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Zé Augusto Duarte made a huge save. João Adolfo Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Videl in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Luiz Fabiano Trigo made a precise shot to the right of João Adolfo Rosa. Clube Atlético Impávido's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Uberlandia-DMZ booed when Clube Atlético Impávido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Boschker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Uberlandia-DMZ's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Arne Ekström. Stig-Arne Ekström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Zé Augusto Duarte made a huge save. Zé Augusto Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Arne Ekström in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Uberlandia-DMZ's zone, Válter Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Augusto Duarte came out of the goal and Válter Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Stig-Arne Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Duarte having to interfere. Edward Kisielka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zé Augusto Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Arne Ekström scored 3-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Augusto Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Richard Boschker kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Uberlandia-DMZ's Zé Augusto Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Kisielka in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Uberlandia-DMZ's Berdoi Abaurre got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, Válter Camargo made a precise shot to the right of Zé Augusto Duarte. Uberlandia-DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 93rd match minute, Uberlandia-DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Vides to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match Edward Kisielka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Augusto Duarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Clube Atlético Impávido players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
