The supporters of Dementadores booed when Operario F C - MS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dariusz Jaruzelski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Frank Torres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zeca Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Ostoici in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dariusz Jaruzelski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Frank Torres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dariusz Jaruzelski in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tião Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. César do Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César do Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 60 minutes, Petruț Ostoici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dementadores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Ostoici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
