After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Plataforma FC.'s zone, Bogdan Noworolnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Guzman came out of the goal and Bogdan Noworolnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauricio Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Jun Feng in the 42nd minute of play. Inter de Plataforma FC.'s Mauricio Guzman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Noworolnik in the 43rd minute of play. Mauricio Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybars Tuygun in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Adrio during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Fu Jun Feng took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mauricio Guzman to make any attempt to save it.
