After a rather tough play, Sobreiro Fênix's Ernani do Valle got a free kick in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Sobreiro Fênix's Kauan Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Alberto Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Geovani Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Badejo FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredão de Medeiros. The Carlos Alberto Gerber was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kauan Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Zé Paulo Rosado made a huge save. Eliseo Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Alfredão de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes of play, Sobreiro Fênix's Didi de Lima made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Alberto Gerber was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sobreiro Fênix's Wilton Bezerra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Alberto Gerber in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 90th minute Didi de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Kauan Marquez put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Alberto Gerber. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sobreiro Fênix fully deserved thier win.
