The coaching staff of Verdão da Mantiqueira protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vitinho Dante had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Vitinho Dante hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Alfredão de Medeiros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Niklas Lundhberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Sobreiro Fênix booed when Verdão da Mantiqueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Scholey didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredão de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kauan Marquez took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niklas Lundhberg. Niklas Lundhberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Verdão da Mantiqueira's Niklas Lundhberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Marquez in the 64th minute of play. Anísio Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Didi de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobreiro Fênix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didi de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Sobreiro Fênix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Zé Paulo Rosado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Richie Scholey. 74 minutes into the match, Sobreiro Fênix's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Rosado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Linares. Verdão da Mantiqueira's Niklas Lundhberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão de Medeiros in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Kauan Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sobreiro Fênix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 85 minutes into the match, Ernani do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niklas Lundhberg. Verdão da Mantiqueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernani do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Zézinho de Sena's late challenge caught a Sobreiro Fênix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zézinho de Sena helped the player get up and apologised.
