Percival Bezerra started the match with the kick off. Carlos Alberto Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Mentis in the 4th minute of the match. Falcão Arantes made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Arlindo Esteves sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Badejo FC booed when Arrocha F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Percival Bezerra in the 10thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Falcão Arantes had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 10th minute, Paulão Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Alberto Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Jarbas Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrocha F.C. and the Badejo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Jarbas Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Adelino Passos from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Falcão Arantes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Badejo FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Adelino Passos hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Badejo FC's Arlindo Esteves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Paulão Reis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Rodrigo Proença made a precise shot to the right of Falcão Arantes. Arrocha F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 56 played minutes Arrocha F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Matos. A collision led to Badejo FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eliseo Abarca hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Percival Bezerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Badejo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrocha F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Badejo FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Percival Bezerra hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Arrocha F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Trevisan. After 78 played minutes Arrocha F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Trevisan. After a rather tough play, Arrocha F.C.'s Fausto de Brito got a free kick in the 80th minute. Carlos Alberto Gerber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Mentis's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Wesley Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Gerber having to interfere. Falcão Arantes came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Badejo FC's Arlindo Esteves. But to his dismay, Arlindo Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.
