Magno das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dida Gröhe made a huge save. Tiaguinho Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magno das Neves in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Gröhe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tostão de Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Mo Di Yun ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Bem Bolado's Mo Di Yun to fire away a dangerous shot which Dida Gröhe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 68 played minutes ARAUCARIA FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Couto. Mo Di Yun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dida Gröhe. ARAUCARIA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Su came free, but Tiaguinho Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Hilbert Lyvang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Bem Bolado's Tiaguinho Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão de Queirós in the 84th minute of play. Magno das Neves scored 2-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Gröhe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
