Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Furlan in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateus Linhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Nildo Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice moves Ismael Furlan could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Mateus Linhares however easily saved by the left post. Mateus Linhares had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Justino Chucho from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ismael Furlan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Mateus Linhares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Tormenta fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Tormenta's Ismael Furlan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tormenta made a substitution. Rolando Urtsua replaced Ronaldão Martins. 80 minutes into the match, Trahira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ilias Tsembelis came free, but Mateus Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Mateus Linhares managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Tormenta's Ismael Furlan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tormenta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
