Zé Carlos Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Rony Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Pinho in the 15th minute of play forced Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Armando de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Armando de Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Gilmar Camargo made a huge save. Leonardo Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, Piem's Rony Pinho made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Carlos Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Carlos Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Trigo in the 37th minute of play. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Zé Carlos Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Borges in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Gürhan İlenç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilmar Camargo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The Flu Lawyers Soccer Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piem were winning 2-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gürhan İlenç to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edvaldo Borges came free, but Zé Carlos Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carlos Hermes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Piem's Gerson Xavier shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Zé Carlos Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Pinho in the 67th minute of play. When Gürhan İlenç came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Flu Lawyers Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürhan İlenç couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Flu Lawyers Soccer Club booed when Piem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club were furious when Leonardo Barreto was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Piem. Sydney Neto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zé Carlos Hermes. 2-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Rony Pinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Carlos Hermes. That made the score 2-7 in the 81 minute of play. In the 85th minute, Gerson Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Zé Carlos Hermes. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-8. Sydney Neto missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 92 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Zé Carlos Hermes right hand side. The Flu Lawyers Soccer Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Piem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
