Carlos Fernando Fantini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cléberson Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Hermínio Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Silvério Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Viéla F.C. defense, Cristos Contreras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléberson Andrade. The Viéla F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléberson Andrade should have stopped the shot. Cléberson Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Coracera, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Joel de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YESHUA F.C's protests and gave Joel de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. Cléberson Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute John Coracera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Cristos Contreras made a precise shot to the right of Cléberson Andrade. Viéla F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Silvério Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

YESHUA F.C's Gilvan Maia was substituted for Cristos Contreras. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aigisthos Alatza was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilvan Maia got free with Cléberson Andrade in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute YESHUA F.C were awarded a corner. John Coracera went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 61st minute of the match, Gilvan Maia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cléberson Andrade saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of YESHUA F.C booed when Viéla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Gilvan Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luís Paulista hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Cléberson Andrade acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from John Coracera. With an all-out effort, YESHUA F.C's Cléberson Andrade threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from John Coracera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Parker Heathwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 minutes of play, YESHUA F.C's Gilvan Maia made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Gilvan Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cléberson Andrade. Viéla F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilvan Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 83 minutes into the game, Gilvan Maia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cléberson Andrade. Gilvan Maia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Matt Sharples could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cléberson Andrade made a huge save. Cléberson Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Sharples in the 87th minute of play. If Matt Sharples had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Maria Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Cléberson Andrade made a huge save.
