Zé Carlos Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Messias in the 8th minute of play. Zé Carlos Hermes made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mats Byström sent off a good shot on target. Mourad Amirouche came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zé Carlos Hermes could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Gürhan İlenç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Válter Peixoto was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Mourad Amirouche had several of the Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Zé Carlos Hermes as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 26th match minute, Sport Guild Atlantis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Válter Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Azevedo in the 27th minute of the match. Renatinho Rosa hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mats Byström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Guild Atlantis's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Byström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Carlos Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mourad Amirouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Messias in the 44th minute of play forced Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Zé Carlos Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Palmeira in the 46th minute of play. Zé Carlos Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The wind increased when Gürhan İlenç made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, André Messias made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Zé Carlos Hermes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Mourad Amirouche notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Zé Carlos Hermes. Zé Carlos Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mourad Amirouche in the 61st minute of play forced Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válter Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Zé Carlos Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Byström in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Messias in the 80th minute of play forced Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Flu Lawyers Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Barreto. 86 minutes into the match, Sport Guild Atlantis's goal looked a bit too open when Armando de Queirós came free, but Válter Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Skarkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 minutes, Sílvio Favoretto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flu Lawyers Soccer Club and the Sport Guild Atlantis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Favoretto hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sport Guild Atlantis's Mats Byström got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th match minute, Flu Lawyers Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürhan İlenç to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sport Guild Atlantis fully deserved thier win.
