David Torres started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match YESHUA F.C got a corner. Sem nomee's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. John Coracera ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led YESHUA F.C's John Coracera to fire away a dangerous shot which Júlio Sá despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, David Torres lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Júlio Sá. David Torres's late challenge caught a Sem nomee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Torres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Severino Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Anatole Guidon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of YESHUA F.C booed when Sem nomee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When YESHUA F.C's David Torres in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th minute of the match, Severino Britto sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Ricardo Zamora showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. When YESHUA F.C's David Torres in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renatinho Jacinto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Carlos Fernando Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, David Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YESHUA F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Tomás Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Zamora made a huge save. David Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Júlio Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute Andrézinho da Mata beautifully dribbled past YESHUA F.C's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Ricardo Zamora pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. Cristos Contreras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute David Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. YESHUA F.C made a substitution. Nilmar Munhoz replaced David Torres. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Nilmar Munhoz sped through Sem nomee's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júlio Sá. YESHUA F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sem nomee for a fine match.
