The Limão Com Mel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. Dagoberto Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Cordeiro having to interfere. A collision led to Scragbadun FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Waldemar Zachemski hit a great ball. Sidney Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomé Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Scragbadun FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percy Paiva should have stopped the shot. Tomé Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Erik Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tomé Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scragbadun FC's protests and gave Tomé Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Scragbadun FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tomé Araújo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Souza in the 41st minute of play forced Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Percy Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Tomé Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th match minute, Limão Com Mel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Porto to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Cordeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Limão Com Mel's zone, Tomé Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Cordeiro came out of the goal and Tomé Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Limão Com Mel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Tomé Araújo scored to the left of an out of position Erik Cordeiro, making the score, 1-3. In the 74th match minute, Scragbadun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. After 78th play minutes Tomé Araújo shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Erik Cordeiro and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Limão Com Mel's Jailson Fontes got a free kick in the 81st minute. Percy Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Souza in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Scragbadun FC's Cristian Messias got a free kick in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Messias during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Limão Com Mel booed when Scragbadun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Limão Com Mel's Sidney Cavalcante tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Araújo in the 97th minute of play forced Limão Com Mel's goalkeeper Erik Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Scragbadun FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
