After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Joacim Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Internacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Joacim Melander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredinho Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredinho Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joacim Melander in the 33rd minute of play forced Coxa Doido's goalkeeper Alfredinho Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Coxa Doido defense, Alfredinho Custódio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredinho Domingues. The Coxa Doido fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredinho Domingues should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Joacim Melander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodriguinho Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Souza having to interfere. Joacim Melander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After 92 played minutes Coxa Doido got a freekick which was hit by Válter Gomes. Fede Gøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
