Reinaldo Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 56 played minutes Encardidos got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Araújo. Encardidos's Reinaldo Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Castro in the 57th minute of play. In the 67th minute Válter Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Cardoso came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Coxa Doido's Válter Gomes. But to his dismay, Válter Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Coxa Doido's Válter Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodriguinho Castro in the 79th minute of play forced Encardidos's goalkeeper Reinaldo Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Coxa Doido's zone, Adilson Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Domingues came out of the goal and Adilson Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amola Concha hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Encardidos's Laerte Bittencourt got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Válter Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Reinaldo Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
