When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joacim Melander to make the kick off. Rodrigo de Lima hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ademir Donatello scored 5-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Augusto Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético de Crisal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sport Club Internacional had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
