Spectators: 7672 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adilson Araújo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Tomé Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiaguinho Baptista during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute Tomé Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Encardidos got a freekick which was hit by Dong Jing Zhen. After 16th play minutes Tomé Araújo shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Reinaldo Cardoso and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 21st minute, Tomé Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomé Araújo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Reinaldo Cardoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reinaldo Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomé Araújo in the 37th minute. Scragbadun FC's Waldemar Zachemski got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Scragbadun FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Araújo came free, but Percy Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Encardidos getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Laerte Bittencourt hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Encardidos's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Araújo came free, but Reinaldo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Encardidos got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Schmidt. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Tomé Araújo sped through Encardidos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reinaldo Cardoso. In the 62nd minute Tomé Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Encardidos's Reinaldo Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Wallin in the 65th minute of play. Dagoberto Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Ingvar Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scragbadun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Wallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Encardidos's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th match minute, Encardidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Custódio in the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Encardidos's zone, Tomé Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Cardoso came out of the goal and Tomé Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Scragbadun FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
