Yuri Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genílson Leme in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Romero in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiliam Prado saved Athletis PR from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Athletis PR's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Ortiz came free, but Wiliam Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiliam Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Piglowski in the 29th minute of play. Wiliam Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Romero in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, one of Athletis PR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Athletis PR. Wiliam Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Ortiz in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Athletis PR's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Ortiz came free, but Wiliam Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Marco de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Athletis PR got a freekick which was hit by Caio Raminhos. Nicolas Romero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wiliam Prado. Athletis PR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Genílson Leme made the kick off in the second half. Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Leme in the 51st minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Athletis PR's Luís Gustavo de Mendonça made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Marco de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiliam Prado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Romero in the 57th minute. Nicolas Romero hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Yuri Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Leme in the 64th minute of play. Nicolas Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Wiliam Prado made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco de Moraes in the 71st minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Atlético Minuano getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Igor Kaczeniak hit a great ball. Atlético Minuano's Waldemar Radziszewski was substituted for Dominik Piglowski. After 73 played minutes Atlético Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Igor Kaczeniak.
