Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro de Toledo to make the kick off. Nelsinho de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro de Toledo in the 68th minute of play forced New veneza's goalkeeper Nelsinho de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New veneza's Nelsinho de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro de Toledo in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the New veneza defense, Igor Michalski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho de Amaral. The New veneza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho de Amaral should have stopped the shot.
