After 19 minutes, Luizinho Penha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New veneza and the Atlético Minuano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atlético Minuano booed when New veneza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Ortiz in the 20th minute of play forced New veneza's goalkeeper Nelsinho de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Ortiz scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelsinho de Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Nicolas Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Romero in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nelsinho de Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Romero's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Nicolas Romero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nelsinho de Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolas Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Mathias Ortiz sped through New veneza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nelsinho de Amaral. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Romero in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Nicolas Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nelsinho de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Yuri Loureiro made a huge save. After the first half Atlético Minuano were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Romero was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes New veneza got a freekick which was hit by Chico da Cunha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Ortiz in the 52nd minute of play forced New veneza's goalkeeper Nelsinho de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Atlético Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Reis. Nicolas Romero in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nelsinho de Amaral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 64 played minutes New veneza got a freekick which was hit by César Vinhas. Nicolas Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nelsinho de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Ortiz succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. Waldemar Radziszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicolas Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nelsinho de Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolas Romero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 81st minute. Atlético Minuano made a substitution. Alfredinho Aparecido replaced Nicolas Romero. A collision led to New veneza getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Chico da Cunha hit a great ball. New veneza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Alfredinho Aparecido scored to the left of an out of position Nelsinho de Amaral, making the score, 0-10. When the match was over Atlético Minuano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than New veneza throughout the match.
