In the 25th minute of the match Nana FC got a corner. Moura's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Ahlquist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Nana FC's Frank Barros to fire away a dangerous shot which Chico Pinho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Proença in the 32nd minute of play forced Moura's goalkeeper Chico Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico Proença's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Moura's Geraldo Loyola got a free kick in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Moura's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Barros came free, but Chico Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Clayton Gamarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
