Sondang Heryuwono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Beltrao F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero de Sena came free, but Sondang Heryuwono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beltrao F.C's Sondang Heryuwono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Senna in the 27th minute of play. Sondang Heryuwono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero de Sena in the 30th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Virgílio Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sondang Heryuwono was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cacá Xavier hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fiori da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseu Mendes came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Beltrao F.C's Fiori da Rocha. But to his dismay, Fiori da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Sondang Heryuwono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Faria in the 72nd minute of play. Eliseu Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tanek Kisiel's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The Beltrao F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Beltrao F.C had played much better football throughout.
