Elias Viana might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Viana ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Viana got free with Eusébio Monteiro in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Paraense's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Viana came free, but Eusébio Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Monteiro having to interfere.
