Zeca Cerezo scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Didi das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 27 minutes of play, Bolacha SC's Vladimir Senna made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bolacha SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Móric Hrdina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didi das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimir Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi das Neves having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bolacha SC's Osmar da Mata got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Vladimir Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pureza FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bolacha SC were winning 0-2.

Natanael Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Didi das Neves made a huge save. Edvaldo de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes, Bernardo Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolacha SC and the Pureza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
