Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bebeto Figueiredo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Jeferson Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KEIPER F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Cacá Xavier notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Thunderstruck FC's Guto Toscano. Guto Toscano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Thunderstruck FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Leonardo Maranhense hit a great ball. After 16th play minutes Cacá Xavier shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Guto Toscano and just under the crossbar into goal. After 18 played minutes Thunderstruck FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Maranhense. After 21 minutes, Cacá Xavier made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Thunderstruck FC's Guto Toscano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Guto Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Senna in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Cacá Xavier notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Thunderstruck FC's Guto Toscano. Guto Toscano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Perivaldo Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, KEIPER F. C.'s Virgílio Faria tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When KEIPER F. C.'s Cacá Xavier in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thunderstruck FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bebeto Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Guto Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeferson Senna took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guto Toscano. Guto Toscano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Thunderstruck FC's Guto Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Xavier in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cacá Xavier to make the kick off. Marcelinho das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Perivaldo Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Thunderstruck FC's Guto Toscano got control of the ball when Cacá Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliseu Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton do Nascimento in the 65th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Bebeto Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, KEIPER F. C.'s Cacá Xavier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guto Toscano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Eliseu Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cacá Xavier might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guto Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacá Xavier ran back to his position shaking his head. Cacá Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Toscano having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, KEIPER F. C.'s Jeferson Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guto Toscano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. The KEIPER F. C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KEIPER F. C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
