Nico Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Guilherme Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Damião in the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mazinho Damião in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Guilherme Penha saved Juvenil Sport Club from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Mateus Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Guilherme Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Bucéfalo FC's goalkeeper Oskar Beckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernandinho Souto. In the 22nd match minute, Bucéfalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Bucéfalo FC's Nico Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Guilherme Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Mazinho Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Guilherme Penha was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Oskar Beckström made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Fernandinho Souto sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Bogdan Matei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oskar Beckström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Bucéfalo FC's Mazinho Damião in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juvenil Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Guilherme Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Damião in the 45th minute of play. Mazinho Damião struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Luiz Guilherme Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bucéfalo FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mazinho Damião made a kick off. When Mazinho Damião came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Bucéfalo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Damião couldn't finish the play. In the 57thth minute of the game Mazinho Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juvenil Sport Club's Luiz Guilherme Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bucéfalo FC's Marquinhos Pitta got a free kick in the 61st minute. Mazinho Damião who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Guilherme Penha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 68thth minute of the game Mazinho Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juvenil Sport Club's Luiz Guilherme Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Juvenil Sport Club getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fernandinho Souto hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Bucéfalo FC's Iuri Mattos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Guilherme Penha. Luiz Guilherme Penha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Mazinho Damiãos short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Luiz Guilherme Penha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Juvenil Sport Club defense, Mazinho Damião kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Guilherme Penha. The Juvenil Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Guilherme Penha should have stopped the shot. The Bucéfalo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bucéfalo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
