Juvenil Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elder Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fabio Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Prata in the 14th minute of play. In the 25th minute Fernandinho Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elder Ortiz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 26th playminute. Felipe Dietze's late challenge caught a Juvenil Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Dietze helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Felipe Dietze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernandinho Souto took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Fillol. Fabio Fillol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Mateus Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Guilherme Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elder Ortiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernandinho Souto made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Perivaldo Andrade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Fillol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube's goalkeeper Fabio Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernandinho Souto. In the 60th match minute, Paraná Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Dietze to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd match minute, Juvenil Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Custódio to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube's goalkeeper Fabio Fillol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernandinho Souto. Elder Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Custódio during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paraná Clube booed when Juvenil Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cido Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Elder Ortiz put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Guilherme Penha. Fernandinho Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Fillol made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Fernandinho Souto sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Elder Ortiz notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Juvenil Sport Club's Luiz Guilherme Penha. Luiz Guilherme Penha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabio Fillol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernandinho Souto in the 91st minute. Felipe Dietze kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Fernandinho Souto came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabio Fillol could save by the left post. The Paraná Clube support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
