After 5 minutes Calesso FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Perivaldo Andrade who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Juvenil Sport Club defense, Kåre Wahlstrøm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Queiroz. The Juvenil Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Queiroz should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Emil Genev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Queiroz. Juvenil Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Genev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 14 minutes into the game, Calesso FC's Cícero Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastião Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Fernandinho Souto's late challenge caught a Calesso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandinho Souto helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Juvenil Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Souto. After 21 played minutes Juvenil Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Guimarães. 22 minutes into the match, Calesso FC's Sufi Orun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastião Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Juvenil Sport Club getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Vicente Brasil hit a great ball. Serginho Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernandinho Souto in the 26th minute. Juvenil Sport Club's Sebastião Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Rezende in the 27th minute of play. Sebastião Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cícero Pereira went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 34 minutes, Kåre Wahlstrøm made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Juvenil Sport Club's Sebastião Queiroz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Juvenil Sport Club defense, Kåre Wahlstrøm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Queiroz. The Juvenil Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Queiroz should have stopped the shot. Kåre Wahlstrøm scored 0-7 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastião Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The wind increased when Fernandinho Souto made the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Queiroz came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Calesso FC's Frederico Cabral. But to his dismay, Frederico Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Genev got free with Sebastião Queiroz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Matei in the 59th minute of play forced Calesso FC's goalkeeper Serginho Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Kåre Wahlstrøm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastião Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. 69 minutes into the match, Juvenil Sport Club's goalkeeper Sebastião Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cícero Pereira. The crowd rose to their feet as Calesso FC's Sufi Orun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastião Queiroz. That made the score 0-10 after 72 minutes of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Juvenil Sport Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calesso FC:s goal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Kåre Wahlstrøm took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Sebastião Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Juvenil Sport Club's Sebastião Queiroz got control of the ball when Kåre Wahlstrøm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Serginho Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Matei in the 88th minute of the match. Vicente Brasil hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Calesso FC played a much better game than Juvenil Sport Club and deserved their victory. The Juvenil Sport Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
