This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Nico Tasso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Izel Carrion kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Lion Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's supporters rose to their feet, but Lion Messi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Loramendi Cabarcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Rocha in the 20th minute of play. When Encanto's Osvaldinho Rocha in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalie prevented a goal. Osvaldinho Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. RIO DE JANEIRO's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Rocha came free, but Loramendi Cabarcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Elazar Larraín hit a great ball. Osvaldinho Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loramendi Cabarcos having to make a save. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Rocha in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldinho Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the game, Encanto's Osvaldinho Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loramendi Cabarcos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Encanto's Loramendi Cabarcos threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osvaldinho Rocha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Osvaldinho Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldinho Rocha in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loramendi Cabarcos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldinho Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Elazar Larraín got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jairo Nascimento fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Encanto's Osvaldinho Rocha in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye E.C. With his leg Loramendi Cabarcos managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Encanto's Osvaldinho Rocha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Osvaldinho Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loramendi Cabarcos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Santana in the 88th minute of play forced E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalkeeper Loramendi Cabarcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Encanto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO:s goal. Nico Tasso went to the wrong direction when Neymar Junior was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Encanto's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
