But to his dismay, João Vítor da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Dedé Pinheiro in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Bebeto Sarmento.

The supporters of E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO booed when Real Knit United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loramendi Cabarcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lion Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Quintun having to interfere. If Serafim Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos got control of the ball when João Vítor da Mata tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Agnaldo Lucas in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Neymar Junior. In the 68th minute Anísio Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Quintun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lion Messi in the 69th minute. Loramendi Cabarcos made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when João Vítor da Mata sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Lion Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Quintun was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Doriva Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Neymar Junior managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Agnaldo Lucas in the 78 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Queirós in the 78th minute of play forced Real Knit United's goalkeeper Antonio Quintun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO from getting a goal against them. Antonio Quintun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dedé Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loramendi Cabarcos having to interfere. Real Knit United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
