With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dagoberto Macedo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Tasso saved Encanto from getting behind. Dagoberto Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Tasso having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho Pernambucano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 74th match minute, Encanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Nico Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes of play, Barretos's Dagoberto Macedo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nico Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Encanto's Osvaldinho Rocha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Augusto Damião. José Augusto Damião yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Romeu Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nico Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nico Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
