Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valério Senna kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Guarei FC got a freekick which was hit by Kacper Burdalski. 5 minutes into the match, Itanhum's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Ferreira came free, but Alberto Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guarei FC's Armando Ruano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Guarei FC from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Luiz Eduardo Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Guarei FC's Luiz Eduardo Nunes in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 18th minute, Betinho Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Guarei FC booed when Itanhum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Burdalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Armando Ruano made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Armandinho das Neves sent off a good shot on target. Basílio Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Guarei FC's Armando Arce tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Betinho Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Alberto Cavalcante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 35 minutes, Betinho Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarei FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betinho Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Betinho Ferreira scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Cavalcante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 minutes of play, Guarei FC's Kacper Burdalski made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betinho Ferreira made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Guarei FC's Luiz Eduardo Nunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Itanhum's Alberto Cavalcante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Itanhum from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Itanhum's Alberto Cavalcante got control of the ball when Luiz Eduardo Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Nunes in the 63rd minute of play forced Itanhum's goalkeeper Alberto Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Valério Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itanhum's supporters rose to their feet, but Valério Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Ruano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Burdalski in the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Valério Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Ruano was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Itanhum's Alberto Cavalcante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Itanhum from getting a goal against them. Guarei FC's Alessandro Quadros was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Nunes. Guarei FC's Edvaldo Barbosa was substituted for Luís Fernando Antunes. 79 minutes into the match, Betinho Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Cavalcante. Itanhum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betinho Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Guarei FC's Alessandro Quadros came free and shot a quick shot against goal 82 minutes in the game, fortunately Alberto Cavalcante had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Alberto Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Ferreira in the 82nd minute of play. Alberto Cavalcante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Quadros in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Betinho Ferreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberto Cavalcante. That made the score 0-9 in the 86 minute of play. Alberto Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Quadros went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Guarei FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
