The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, NEGRITUDE FC's Inácio Macedo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ernesto Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Sydney Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Váldson Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th play minute Sydney Queiroz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daniel Linares. 2-0. Sydney Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Daniel Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEGRITUDE FC. Júnior Pereira came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniel Linares could save by the left post. In the 29th minute, Einar Josefsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PeidôXerozo EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Daniel Linares was a little too slow when Inácio Macedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-1. Einar Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Téo Brito made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Vargas. NEGRITUDE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sydney Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Einar Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário de Sousa in the 75th minute of play forced NEGRITUDE FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trent Alexander-Arnold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NEGRITUDE FC fully deserved thier win.
