After some careless play in the Goyaz defense, Gabriel Severo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino James. The Goyaz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino James should have stopped the shot. After having played for 15 minutes, Juninho Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BlacK & BlueS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juninho Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Goyaz's Severino James got control of the ball when Natã Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Antônio Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juninho Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Severino James tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Goyaz got a freekick which was hit by Davi Sampaio. Severino James came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by BlacK & BlueS's Ernani Brito. But to his dismay, Ernani Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When BlacK & BlueS's Gabriel Severo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goyaz's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute Natã Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Goyaz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BlacK & BlueS:s goal. Goyaz:s Severino James showed great skill when he stopped Kléberson Paiva:s penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Severo in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino James saved Goyaz from getting behind. Ernani Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Severino James made a huge save. When BlacK & BlueS's Gabriel Severo in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goyaz's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Juninho Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino James having to interfere. Matías Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Mesquita in the 52nd minute of the match. 52 minutes into the game, Válbson Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goyaz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BlacK & BlueS the free kick. A collision led to Goyaz getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Válbson Rocha hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Gabriel Severo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Severino James. After having played for 58 minutes, Natã Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goyaz's Severino James played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Mineiro in the 61st minute of play. Válbson Rocha hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Gabriel Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Goyaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Severino James stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Severo's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Hílton Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Brito in the 72nd minute of play forced Goyaz's goalkeeper Severino James to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Natã Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Severino James was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Severo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino James prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Severo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino James saved Goyaz from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Goyaz's zone, Hílton Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino James came out of the goal and Hílton Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino James didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernani Brito went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BlacK & BlueS fully deserved thier win.
