The supporters of PeidôXerozo EC booed when Mota 2017 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Senna in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Linares saved PeidôXerozo EC from getting behind. Daniel Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseu Senna's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Romário de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mota 2017's supporters rose to their feet, but Romário de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Roger Couto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Daniel Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torgeir Phan made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Einar Josefsson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário de Lara in the 18th minute of play forced PeidôXerozo EC's goalkeeper Daniel Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Roger Couto made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Linares. PeidôXerozo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Eliseu Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Linares having to make a save. Daniel Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, PeidôXerozo EC's Romário de Sousa got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the PeidôXerozo EC defense, Eliseu Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Linares. The PeidôXerozo EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Linares should have stopped the shot. Eliseu Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Senna in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Linares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Dedé Cardoso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PeidôXerozo EC's Daniel Linares didn't even have to move. Fred Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseu Senna made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Eliseu Senna took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Daniel Linares to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Couto got free with Daniel Linares in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Daniel Linares managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Mota 2017's Roger Couto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 58 minutes into the match, PeidôXerozo EC's goalkeeper Daniel Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Senna. Fred Alvarenga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 63rd playminute. After 67 played minutes Mota 2017 got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Cardoso. A collision led to PeidôXerozo EC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Romário de Sousa hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Eliseu Senna put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Linares. Mota 2017's Tomé Corrêa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Daniel Linares but with some difficulty. The Mota 2017 fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Mota 2017's Eliseu Senna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 85 minutes into the game, Eliseu Senna lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Daniel Linares. In the 95th minute, Nilmar Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mota 2017 played a much better game than PeidôXerozo EC and deserved their victory. The PeidôXerozo EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
