That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. A collision led to Zona de Combate getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mauro Moreno hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Adhemar Azevedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldir Diniz skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Zona de Combate booed when AUGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wágner Porto during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Zona de Combate got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Porto. 17 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Eger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldir Diniz, 2-0. In the 20th minute, Jerônimo Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st match minute, Zona de Combate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Faustão Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. AUGE FC's Abel Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Porto in the 34th minute of play. Afonsinho Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldir Diniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerônimo Oliveira went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 42nd play minute Jerônimo Oliveira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Waldir Diniz. 5-0. Waldir Diniz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Afonsinho Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonsinho Eger struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Waldir Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AUGE FC. In the 59th minute, Afonsinho Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zona de Combate's Waldir Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Oliveira in the 61st minute of play. Zona de Combate's Wágner Porto got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Wágner Porto off the ground. After 68 played minutes Zona de Combate got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Porto. In the 72ndth minute of the game Afonsinho Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zona de Combate's Waldir Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afonsinho Eger might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldir Diniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonsinho Eger ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the game, Nilton Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AUGE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zona de Combate the free kick. Waldir Diniz came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by AUGE FC's Jerônimo Oliveira. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When Afonsinho Eger came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the AUGE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonsinho Eger couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Zona de Combate's zone, Jerônimo Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Diniz came out of the goal and Jerônimo Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Orlando Sá came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zona de Combate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Sá couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Zona de Combate booed when AUGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
