Luan de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Frank Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Souto during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnaldo da Fonseca, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. MM g were furious when Ruy Albuquerque was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Vladimir Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes MM g got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Ramos. In the 36th minute, Elder Novaes made a precise shot to the right of Vladimir Neto. MM g's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Vladimir Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Palmeira in the 40th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renato Pires made a kick off. Jonas Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimir Neto made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Douglas Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Jonas Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MM g and the Pinheirinho EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MM g getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jonas Ramos hit a great ball. A hard shot by Arnaldo da Fonseca from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Vladimir Neto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Souto got free with Vladimir Neto in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes of play, MM g's Carlos Augusto Paraibano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luan de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladimir Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Neto had great luck who in the 77thth minute grab hold of the ball when Renato Pires from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Arnaldo da Fonseca hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jonas Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan de Queirós having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MM g's Göran Jonasson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Pinheirinho EC's Renato Pires in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MM g's goalie prevented a goal. Júlio Souto was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Júlio Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MM g fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pinheirinho EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
