Zona de Combate's Waldir Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Villegas in the 8th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Norberto Villegas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waldir Diniz. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Waldir Diniz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After some careless play in the Zona de Combate defense, Silviu Miclea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldir Diniz. The Zona de Combate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Diniz should have stopped the shot. Waldir Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Juvenal Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Noia's Norberto Villegas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldir Diniz. That made the score 5-0 after 29 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Waldir Diniz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 34 minutes into the game, Norberto Villegas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Waldir Diniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the game, Durvalino Toscano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldir Diniz. Durvalino Toscano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Noia's Falcão Peres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldir Diniz. That made the score 8-0 after 41 minutes of play. 44 minutes into the match, Zona de Combate's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Villegas came free, but Waldir Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durvalino Toscano in the 45th minute. Waldir Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silviu Miclea was the one to do the kick off. Waldir Diniz came out of the goal and Norberto Villegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Zona de Combate's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Campidelis came free, but Waldir Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Noia's Albertinho Campidelis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldir Diniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Durvalino Toscano succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 11-0. If Albertinho Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Toscano in the 68th minute of play. Norberto Villegas scored 12-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldir Diniz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Durvalino Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
