Abel Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Vítor Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Abel Maranhense made a huge save. Braga Junior FC's José Vítor Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Souza came free, but Silvinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AUGE FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fábio Machado hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Hélio Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Braga Junior FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélio Vaz couldn't finish the play. After taking down the ball on Braga Junior FC's corner Perico Ferrer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abel Maranhense quite easily take care of the ball. In the 57th match minute, Braga Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. José Vítor Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Maranhense having to make a save. Cristian Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76thth minute of the game José Vítor Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AUGE FC's Abel Maranhense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abel Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Aparecido in the 89th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the AUGE FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Braga Junior FC.
