In the 42nd minute, Silviu Miclea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute of the match Saverio Amor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiago Gabriel Simão skillfully saved the ball. Noia's Norberto Villegas managed to work through Gru Futebol Clube's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Norberto Villegas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Noia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
