The audience was convinced that Hipolito Paz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Ospin was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the game, Rocha F.C's Wellington Bertassi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Ospin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Morabem EC booed when Rocha F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morabem EC's Claudinho Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ladio Pis hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Morabem EC's Florentino Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Bittencourt in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Wellington Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Wellington Bertassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florentino Ospin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 26 minutes into the game, Rocha F.C's Gino Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Ospin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Florentino Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Paz in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Morabem EC's Norberto Neto got a free kick in the 34th minute. Florentino Ospin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Paz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Wellington Bertassi notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Morabem EC's Florentino Ospin. Florentino Ospin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conrado Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Rocha F.C were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Paz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Ospin came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Rocha F.C's Wellington Bertassi. But to his dismay, Wellington Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 57th match minute, Morabem EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toninho Sá got free with Florentino Ospin in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florentino Ospin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Bertassi went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Morabem EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Gino Lima scored to the left of an out of position Florentino Ospin, making the score, 0-10. Florentino Ospin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gino Lima showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 66 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wellington Bertassi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florentino Ospin. That made the score 0-13 in the 75 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Paz in the 78th minute of play forced Morabem EC's goalkeeper Florentino Ospin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Florentino Ospin managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Rocha F.C's Wellington Bertassi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Morabem EC's Florentino Ospin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Morabem EC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Florentino Ospin managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Rocha F.C's Wellington Bertassi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th minute, Wellington Bertassi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rocha F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. Wellington Bertassi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florentino Ospin came out and tried to block the shot, but Wellington Bertassi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-15 in the 91st minute. Florentino Ospin made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Conrado Mello sent off a good shot on target. Conrado Mello made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 95thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Florentino Ospin would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Rocha F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
