AUGE FC's Abel Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Toscano in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Noia's Norberto Villegas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Magno de Moraes's late challenge caught a Noia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magno de Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AUGE FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Magno de Moraes hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, AUGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Campidelis came free, but Abel Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, AUGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Miclea came free, but Abel Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Abel Maranhense throw himself and got hold of the ball when Silviu Miclea in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Faustão Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Norberto Villegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerônimo Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerônimo Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute of the match Saverio Amor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Maranhense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Noia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AUGE FC.
