Luan de Queirós was a little too slow when Leonel Xavier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Fred Valencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan de Queirós having to interfere. Nilmar de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Franklin Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luan de Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Luan de Queirós was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Fred Valencia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fred Valencia really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Fred Valencia came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Valencia couldn't finish the play. When Elder Novaes fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinheirinho EC's protests and gave Elder Novaes a yellow card for diving instead. Elder Novaes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Lucas Head Son slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luan de Queirós. That made the score 4-0 after 20 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Fred Valencia sped through Pinheirinho EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luan de Queirós. Luan de Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fred Valencia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 29 minute of play. Lucas Head Son was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 32 minutes into the game, Fred Valencia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luan de Queirós. Fred Valencia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. The attack was good, but when Fred Valencia in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Nilmar de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Luan de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fred Valencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luan de Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fred Valencia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-0 in the 42 minute of play. In the 46th minute, Fred Valencia made a precise shot to the right of Luan de Queirós. Pinheirinho EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Pires to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Fred Valencia sped through Pinheirinho EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luan de Queirós. The INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Fred Valencia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luan de Queirós came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Fred Valencia. But to his dismay, Fred Valencia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. 65 minutes into the match, Fred Valencia notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Pinheirinho EC's Luan de Queirós. Luan de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70thth minute of the game Fred Valencia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinheirinho EC's Luan de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pinheirinho EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nilmar de Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Carlo Gamarra heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 73rd minute, Nilmar de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Luan de Queirós. Pinheirinho EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. 76 minutes into the match, Fred Valencia notched a goal, 15-0, to the right of Pinheirinho EC's Luan de Queirós. Luan de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Valencia in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan de Queirós saved Pinheirinho EC from getting behind. After 80 minutes, Fred Valencia made it 16-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pinheirinho EC's Luan de Queirós tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Fred Valencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Fred Valencia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 17-0. Luan de Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nilmar de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes of play, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Fred Valencia made it 18-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luan de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Head Son recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Pinheirinho EC defense, Fred Valencia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luan de Queirós. The Pinheirinho EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luan de Queirós should have stopped the shot. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
