In the 14th minute Renato Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zona de Combate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Gilberto Capixaba scored to the left of an out of position Waldir Diniz, making the score, 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Waldir Diniz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Pinheirinho EC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ezequiel Corrêa hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Renato Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zona de Combate's Waldir Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Zona de Combate from getting a goal against them. Waldir Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Waldir Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Palmeira in the 66th minute of play forced Zona de Combate's goalkeeper Waldir Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Diniz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinheirinho EC's Douglas Palmeira. But to his dismay, Douglas Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Douglas Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinheirinho EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Waldir Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinheirinho EC. Waldir Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Palmeira in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Douglas Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Palmeira in the 93rd minute of the match. Waldir Diniz came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinheirinho EC's Renato Pires. But to his dismay, Renato Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Pinheirinho EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
