When INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Fred Valencia in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MM g's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Paes in the 11th minute of play forced INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's goalkeeper Alisson Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Valencia got free with Mathias Leme in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fred Valencias short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Mathias Leme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Valencia in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Larsfält kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes MM g got a freekick which was hit by Jean Paraense. After 22 minutes of play, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Fred Valencia made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Fred Valencia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathias Leme was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Fred Valencia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mathias Leme. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 29th minute, Albin Larsfält hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Fred Valencia made a precise shot to the right of Mathias Leme. MM g's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Fred Valencias short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Mathias Leme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fred Valencia took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Leme. Mathias Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 38th match minute, MM g was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Paes to maneuver through the defense. Franklin Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Fred Valencias short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Mathias Leme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. MM g's Mathias Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Valencia in the 42nd minute of play. Geovanni Ramalho in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mathias Leme, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 47 minutes into the match, MM g's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar de Souza came free, but Mathias Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gabriel Paes made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Gabriel Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MM g's Mathias Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Valencia in the 55th minute of play. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA made a substitution. Dalmo Rossi replaced Fred Valencia. After 60 minutes INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's goalkeeper Alisson Goycochea managed, with a little bit of luck, save Gabriel Paes's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. MM g's Mathias Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar de Souza in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MM g's goalkeeper Mathias Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MM g's Mathias Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Rezende in the 67th minute of play. Mathias Leme came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Geovanni Ramalho. But to his dismay, Geovanni Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When Gerson Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Rezende couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Nilmar de Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathias Leme. MM g's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilmar de Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Geovanni Ramalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute, Robinho Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Geovanni Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanni Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar de Souza in the 95th minute of play. After some careless play in the MM g defense, Geovanni Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathias Leme. The MM g fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathias Leme should have stopped the shot.
