The supporters of OSASCO FC booed when Tio Patinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Pimenta in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hudson Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulão Alfaks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Hudson Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes OSASCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Telo. In the 42nd minute, Olov Söder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Atilano Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Cordeiro having to interfere. The Tio Patinhas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. OSASCO FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noel Pimenta was the one to do the kick off.
