In the 4th minute, Alegrense Futebol Clube's Tadeu de Sena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Čech. Pedro Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Mattos in the 9th minute of the match. Alegrense Futebol Clube's Cássio Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Maciel in the 13th minute of play. Alex Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Pedro Čech made a huge save. When Acácio Santana fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seterma Tractors's protests and gave Acácio Santana a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Seterma Tractors getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Acácio Santana hit a great ball. The supporters of Alegrense Futebol Clube booed when Seterma Tractors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Vitinho Maciel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seterma Tractors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Edgardo Bauza kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Pedro Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Loureiro. Alex Figueiredo had several of the Seterma Tractors's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Pedro Čech as he didn't even see the shot coming. With an all-out effort, Alegrense Futebol Clube's Pedro Čech threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sílvio Luiz Mattos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alex Figueiredo advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-1 in the 39th minute. Alegrense Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Seterma Tractors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tommas Anthonissen took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tommas Anthonissen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Čech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ademir Tande made a kick off. Pedro Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alegrense Futebol Clube's Cássio Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Alegrense Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Pedro Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Loureiro in the 65th minute of play. Alex Figueiredo took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Čech. Pedro Čech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Jorge Alvarenga hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Alberto Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Sílvio Luiz Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alegrense Futebol Clube's zone, Vitinho Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Amaral came out of the goal and Vitinho Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Alberto Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alegrense Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Seterma Tractors had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
