Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Flying Dutch from getting a goal against them. Macerio Cubria scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Didi Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With 21 minutes on the clock, Rodolfo Santos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Luís Paulo Romero had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Lucila De la Rosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luiz de Lima during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Meia Ronda getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz de Lima hit a great ball. Alexsandro Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Didi Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Meia Ronda's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Tróia came free, but Didi Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meia Ronda's Didi Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristofor Sambrano in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sílvio Luiz de Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Didi Lima was a little too slow when Macerio Cubria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-2. Meia Ronda's Gilvan Tavares was substituted for Sílvio Luiz de Lima. Meia Ronda's Lino Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didi Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexsandro Tróia went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Didi Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristofor Sambrano in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Meia Ronda's Didi Lima got control of the ball when Macerio Cubria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basilio Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Meia Ronda's Vítor Roque was substituted for Lino Berger. Meia Ronda made a substitution.
